Marsh, Cotter & Stewart, LLP traces its
roots to 1973 when M. Dale Marsh began the practice of law in Enterprise.
Marsh became a partner in Cassady, Fuller & Marsh, LLP in 1976.
After a federal clerkship and a several years of practice with a
large law firm in Montgomery, Alabama, Rainer Cotter returned home
to Enterprise and joined Marsh in 1996 as part of Cassady, Fuller
& Marsh. In 2003, Marsh and Cotter formed Marsh, Cotter &
Tindol, LLP. Chad Tindol withdrew from the firm in 2005 to work
in the office of general counsel at the University of Alabama. Shortly
thereafter, Chad Stewart, a former federal law clerk for a U.S.
District Judge and a U.S. Court of Appeals Judge and attorney with
a large Montgomery firm, returned to his home in Enterprise and
joined the firm which was renamed Marsh, Cotter & Stewart, LLP.
